In 1961, John F. Kennedy created the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women, with good results. The PCOY campaign is an effort to inspire Obama to do same for young people, but with the widespread participation of millions. We propose the creation of a Presidential Commission on Youth and Intergeneratoinal Partnerships (PCOY) to bring the problems and solutions of young people to the world stage. This project is sponsored by the Global Youth Action Network together with many other individuals and organizations.
